About Us

Longs Customs started as a custom car building shop with a passion for classic Mustangs. What we do today came from a project in our own shop while working on a friend’s 1966 Mustang Fastback. He wanted a completely new look for the rear of the car, something different from what was already available.

Instead of working around the factory design, we cut the tail panel and redesigned the entire rear end to create a cleaner, more custom look. That project led us to design our own custom taillights and tail panel, and it quickly became the starting point for something much bigger.

What began as a custom solution for one build turned into the foundation of Longs Customs as it is today. As a family-run small business, every product we create is personal to us. We understand the time, money, and passion that go into building a classic car, because we have lived it ourselves.

Today, Longs Customs focuses on designing and manufacturing custom lighting for classic cars. Our goal is to create unique, high quality lighting products that help builders, restorers, and enthusiasts give their cars a look that stands out while still respecting the character of the classics.
